Don't Wait for Termites to Find You First

Charlotte & Fort Mill termite defense with yearly monitoring and bait stations that eliminate colonies before they find your home. Your biggest investment deserves ongoing defense.

You insure your home against fire, storms, and theft. But the most common structural threat in the Charlotte Metro doesn't come with a siren - it comes from underground, silently, and most homeowners don't find out until damage is already done. A termite bond puts a monitoring system around your property before they reach your foundation. We install bait stations, walk your home yearly to check for signs of activity, and if termites ever show up, treatment is covered. Your biggest investment stays protected year-round.

Set Up Your Termite Bond

Why Charlotte Homes Are Prime Targets for Subterranean Termites

The Carolinas sit in one of the heaviest termite pressure zones in the country. Our mild winters don't kill off colonies the way a northern freeze would. And our clay-heavy soil holds moisture, which is exactly what subterranean termites need to survive. They build mud tubes from the ground up into your home's foundation, working through wood framing, floor joists, and structural supports without ever breaking the surface where you'd see them.

By the time most homeowners notice signs - sagging floors, hollow-sounding wood, a swarm of winged insects near windows - the damage has been accumulating for years.

How a Termite Bond Works

A termite bond isn't a one-time treatment and a handshake. It's a monitoring system that stays active around your property and a commitment to respond if termites show up.

Step 1: Property Assessment and Station Placement

We walk your lot to identify the areas termites are most likely to approach - near moisture sources, along foundation walls, around porches and patios. We then install bait stations at intervals around your home's perimeter. These stations contain material termites find more attractive than the wood in your home.

Step 2: Bait That Eliminates the Colony

When foraging termites find a station, they carry the bait back to the colony and share it. This disrupts their ability to molt and reproduce, eventually eliminating the entire colony - including the queen - rather than just the workers you see.

Step 3: Yearly Monitoring Visits

Once a year, we return to check every station, look for mud tubes or signs of activity around your foundation, and replace bait as needed. You'll know we're coming a week ahead and again the day before. If you're home, we'll walk you through what we're seeing. If you're not, we'll leave a summary.

Step 4: Treatment Coverage If Activity Is Found

If termites do show up despite the monitoring system, treatment is covered under your bond. We'll assess the situation and apply the appropriate response - whether that's additional bait, spot treatment, or a full liquid barrier - at no additional cost to you.

What You Actually Get with a Cornerstone Termite Bond

Your yearly visit covers the full perimeter, every station, every time.

We walk your entire property, check every bait station, and look for mud tubes and moisture conditions along your foundation. This takes time, and we schedule enough of it. When we leave, you know the status of your termite defense - not just that someone stopped by.

Problems get handled the same week you call.

If your monitoring visit turns up signs of activity, or you spot something between visits, we're scheduling treatment within days. Josh and the team are local, which means decisions happen here, not somewhere up a chain.

Your monitoring schedule stays on track without you chasing it.

We send reminders a week before your yearly visit and again the day before. If anything looked off during the last check, we follow up. You paid for ongoing defense, we make sure it stays ongoing.

You talk to someone who knows your property.

Call with a question and you'll reach someone who can pull up your service history and give you a real answer. One conversation. One person. Done.

Treatment is covered, and getting it is simple.

If termites show up, your bond covers the response. We assess the situation, schedule the treatment, and handle it. That's what the bond is for.

Before

You'll hear from us a week out, then again the day before your appointment. You'll know exactly when we're coming. If you need to reschedule, just call or text.

During

Our technician walks the full perimeter of your property, installs bait stations at strategic intervals, and checks your foundation for any existing signs of termite activity. Initial installation typically takes 30-45 minutes depending on your lot size and landscaping. We'll explain what we're doing and where we're placing stations if you're home.

After

Termite Bond

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a termite bond last?

Bonds renew annually. As long as you keep the bond active, monitoring visits and treatment coverage continue. If you let it lapse and termites show up later, you'd be starting from scratch with a new treatment.

What brand of bait system do you use?

We use [BAIT SYSTEM BRAND] stations. They're designed to attract foraging termites and eliminate entire colonies over time.

Is the bait safe around kids and pets?

Yes. Bait stations are installed in the ground around your property's perimeter. The active ingredient is contained inside the station and only accessed by termites. There's nothing exposed at the surface.

How do I know if I already have termites?

Signs include mud tubes running up your foundation, hollow-sounding wood, sagging floors, or swarms of winged insects near windows in spring. If you're seeing any of these, call us. We'll come take a look and let you know what you're dealing with.

Do you use liquid treatment or bait stations?

We offer both. Most bonds start with bait station installation because it targets the colony itself rather than just creating a chemical barrier. If active termites are found, we may add liquid treatment depending on the situation - and that treatment is covered under your bond.

Will this completely get rid of termites?

Bait stations work by eliminating the colonies that find them. New colonies can always establish themselves nearby over time, which is why ongoing monitoring matters. The bond gives you both prevention and a response plan if activity appears.

What happens if I sell my home?

Termite bonds can typically be transferred to the new owner at closing. We can provide documentation for real estate transactions, including CL-100 inspections for buyers and sellers.

Do I need to be home for the yearly check?

Not necessarily. Most of the work happens outside around your foundation and bait stations. If you want to walk the property with us, we're happy to explain what we're finding. If you're not home, we'll leave a summary of the visit.

Stop the Colony Before the Damage Gets Worse

Termites don't take breaks. Every day the colony keeps feeding, the damage spreads further into your home's structure.
The sooner we get in there, the less there is to repair.
